Hello Tax Professionals,

When filing a current or prior year Oregon Corporation Tax return, do not use credits to reduce Oregon corporate minimum tax. If you use tax credits to reduce the minimum tax, the return will be adjusted.
The Oregon Supreme Court is reviewing the Oregon Tax Court decision in Conway. To preserve your right to a refund pending the Supreme Court decision you may file a protective claim (only if you filed an original return).

Do not amend for other issues on your Protective Claim for Refund. The protective claim filing should include only this credit offset issue.

For complete information see "Can credits reduce Oregon's corporate minimum tax?" at http://www.oregon.gov/dor/BUS/Pages/corp-tax_main.aspx
