[Revenews] Department of Revenue Rulemaking Activity

The Department of Revenue intends to adopt 17 administrative rules pertaining to the new Oregon Corporate Activity Tax.

Attached please find information related to the department's rulemaking, including:

  *   notices of proposed rulemaking,
  *   an upcoming public hearing period (May 1-26, 220), and
  *   a public hearing on May 26, 2020.

The proposed rules and public hearing notice will be on the department's website beginning May 1, 2020:  http://www.oregon.gov/DOR/about/Pages/rules.aspx.

To align with Governor Brown's April 24, 2020 letter to Sandra McDonough, Chief Executive Officer - Oregon Business and Industry, a revised version of the proposed OAR 150-317-1300 has been filed with the Secretary of State and is attached to this email, along with the originally proposed version that has been superseded. In addition, copies of the referenced letter from Governor Brown are available by requesting a copy from the rules coordinator.
