England has been a long-time partner for our programs, both when we were at Stanford and now at SMRC.  The Expert Patients Programme is the Chronic Disease Self-Management Program (CDSMP), which is offered throughout England.  Kate Lorig was an honored guest at the celebratory annual meeting that marked the 20th anniversary of the EPP.
