[TAO] Offer of Psychiatric / Psychopharmacology Telehealth Service for Childs Teens Adults

Hi,


My name is Tom Roseland, BS, BSN, MS, MSN, RN, PHN, FNP-C [former School
Nurse for Merced City Schools],


After a short period of semi-retirement from Family Practice in FQHCs and
other clinics, I have formed a new Telehealth company, Compassion Family
Health, LLC, to provide TELE-Health based Psychiatric Assessment,
Diagnoses, Medication Treatment, Follow-up, Refills, Questions, Education
and more for Children, Teens, Adults, and Families in OREGON.


My Goal is to provide quality, accessible, affordable, available, and
experienced psychiatric diagnosis and treatment and continuity of care
especially for but not limited to the rural, frontier, and under-served
areas of Oregon using Tele-Health. My hope is to build a group of excellent
1099 providers for this service to meet the huge need in rural and Frontier
Oregon.


I will be accepting client appointment requests starting Wednesday, April
1, 2020.


This will be a CASH basis with a monthly fee for 12 months adjusted for the
families ability to pay - for example $20 to $100 a month for 12 month
contract for access to initial visits with 24/7 access to me via HIPAA
Compliant video TELEHEALTH, texting, messaging, email, smart phone, laptop,
or other asynchronous tools.


In my private psychiatric practice, I charged $350 for an hour visit - so
the $20-100 a month for 12 months meets my needs, meets the patient’s
needs, and provides a much needed service.


I estimate that 200-300 clients at $50 monthly will meet my company and
personal financial needs - once I reach that level I plan to add another
nurse practitioner as 1099 in the practice to train and mentor - and so on
- to build up a statewide service for children, teens, and adults that is
100% accessible and responsive and intent upon the best outcomes for client
and their families.


I will see children for FREE if there is a clear need.


I will be available to the client and/or family and HIPAA permission staff
and healthcare personal almost immediately almost 24/7 [except when I am
asleep, etc.] on a concierge basis using HIPAA compliant OhMD,
SimplePractice, and RXNT.


I did a trial of this model psychiatric care for children in Roseburg for 3
months with great success.


My background includes training in special and secondary education,
substitute teacher in special education with emphasis in severely
emotionally disturbed and multiple handicaps, public health nurse [case
manager for EPSDT program in Merced County], School nurse [focus on Middle
Schools - 4500 students], family practice nurse practitioner, pediatrics,
psychiatry, pain management, chronic disease, homeless program care,
substance use disorder, and urgent care. I am also a trained research
biologist with MS and advanced to candidacy for PhD.


Any help you can give me in how to advertise, make contact with potential
clients, receive referrals, how best to integrate into programs, etc would
be appreciated.


I am currently using SimpleHealth for messages, EHR, Telehealth, and more
and RxNT for prescriptions and medical charting [includes Schedule II-V],
and OhMD for texting for patients, and other software for HIPAA compliant
phone calls and other electronic asynchronous communications.


This allows me to be available almost all the time to clients, families,
and health professionals - handling issues in real time without waiting
room or delay or poor communication.


This works for me and for the patients very well.
