[yscon] Update from Merri in Iowa

[Monks, Merri]

Hi everyone,

I fell and broke my wrist last Saturday  Subsequent surgery on it on Monday
has given me a bionic wrist--lots of hardware in there now.  (yes, it was a
bad break).

I hope to attend the National Forum, but this hinges on multiple
contingencies.

My work for Iowa's youth services librarians Iowa is on hold until I can
return to work.
