[CAFR-Contacts-News] OAM out-for-comment: Outstanding Balances with Component Units

Hello CAFR Contacts,

As discussed at the year-end training, a new OAM has been created and is now out-for-comment.  OAM 15.51.00 Outstanding Balances with Component Units provides direction to state agencies about to record certain transactions with component units and how to reclassify the applicable balances for year-end financial reporting purposes.  The contents of this OAM are consistent with what we discussed at the year-end training.

You'll likely notice that this OAM has a new header.  This is the result of a DAS change to statewide policies.  This will be incorporated into future OAMs as they're revised.
