Hello CAFR Contacts,

The 2017 SARS Year-end Training is now available on iLearn<https://ilearn.oregon.gov/Default.aspx> (key words DAS, SARS, Year-end). The training will occur on June 8, 2017 from 9:00 - 10:30 at the Employment Auditorium, located at 875 Union Street NE in Salem.

As a reminder, attendance at this training is a Gold Star requirement for all agencies included in the CAFR unless exception granted in writing from SARS.

This year's training will cover:


*         Brief GASB update & what's coming from SARS

*         Year-end schedule

*         Budgetary accounting

*         Net OPEB liability (GASB 75)

*         Outstanding balances with component units

*         Changes to disclosures

Continuing professional education (CPE) will be provided.
