 *   Funding Status.  The application window for FY 2011 will open January 11th and close March 24th.  Wave 39 for FY 2010 and Wave 81 for FY 2009 will be released this week.
 *   Further Clarification on Basic Maintenance.  The FCC provided additional guidance to USAC permitting the use of cost allocations on existing maintenance contracts to deal with the new rules on the ineligibility of unbundled warranties and other fixed-price maintenance contracts.  Further information is available in the SLDF’s News Brief of February 18.
 *   E-Rate Updates and Reminders.  Last week’s problem that prevented the filing of Form 470s by new entities is partially resolved.  FCC proposals to modernize the CORES system have E-rate implications for some large organizations sharing the same TIN.
