[HistoricCemeteries] Heritage Survey & Cemetery Commission Position Papers

We have had only 11 responses from historic cemeteries on the Heritage Survey. Thanks to those of you who have completed it. 

This assessment work is truly important. It will really be put to use. The commission will use it to make its Heritage Plan and in collaborative efforts to strengthen heritage efforts in the state. Make sure you are part of the solutions.
Please, please, please do the survey. 

So far, it has taken folks only about 7 to 16 minutes to complete.

The Oregon Commission on Historic Cemeteries is now offering opinions on best practices for the preservation of historic cemeteries. They currently have three papers on the following topics...Historic Marker Replacement, Historic Marker Cleaning, Paper Record Preservation. They are on a few places on the web site.
