Hello,
Newberg just finished hosting the Oregon Historical Housing Discrimination Exhibit, and it was fantastic! Marlee Baker and her team was great to work with, and the exhibit took just 15 minutes to set up.
We had mostly great community feedback with comments like, "I had no idea this happened in Oregon." Below you can find Marlee Baker's contact info as well as more info on the exhibit, including dimensions, and pictures of the exhibit. If you have the space I highly recommend it!

Good morning,
My name is Marlee Baker (she/her) and I am an Education and Outreach Specialist at the Fair Housing Council of Oregon (fhco.org<https://fhco.org/>). We partner with organizations statewide to educate community members about fair housing law, the history of segregation in Oregon, and housing equity.
We would like to potentially partner with the Newberg Public Library to host our historical exhibit: "Anywhere But Here: The History of Housing Discrimination in Oregon." It is a portable, museum-quality exhibit that consists of photographs, text, and quotes. The large seven-panel display chronicles Oregon's largely unknown history of discrimination, segregation, and displacement, as well as the progress we've made in overcoming this history and the challenges that remain. Here is a link with more information regarding the exhibit's dimensions: https://fhco.org/tours-exhibits/ You can also preview the panels here: https://fhco.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/AnywhereButHere_displaypanels8_compressed.pdf
Thanks to our current grant funding, the exhibit fee would be waived and installed free-of-charge. Would you be interested in scheduling a brief meeting to further discuss a potential partnership?
Warmly,

Marlee Baker (she/her)

Due to a high volume of inquiries, our housing discrimination hotline is currently not taking new calls. We are still taking inquiries through our email at info at fhco.org<mailto:info at fhco.org>, but please be aware that response times are 4-6 weeks for the time being.
