I've been fortunate to be able to access HeritageQuest for the past few months. However my Library changed their system! Since that change i haven't been able get to Heritqge Quest. So I started to read the screen that came up and It Told me to TURN OFF ALLPOPUPS! I did, and I'm back into HeritageQuest! And already I've found that my dad Worked in the Oil Fields in Port Aurther Texas in about 1930. I was about 3 years old then. I did know that my dad worked for TEXACO in Oregon and Washington for over 45 Years, but I had no Idea he spent time in Texas.
I also found out that my Grandfather, Prince W. Goodman, was the City Marshal in Lyons, Oregon some time about 1930. ( he listed himself as a butcher, and in other documents He called himself a confectunary maker.
Boy! This is fun Stuff.!

Any one have any information about Goodmans or McLanes in or around Lyons Oregon?
