One trail was the Yreka-Prairie City route.  Just get out a map and draw a line from Yreka to Prairie City, OR.  This trail goes through some rough country.  Travelers could not travel this route year around.  Another route was through Klamath County going north.  Going by Fort Klamath.

  Your site is very interesting.  I read part of it.  Do you know if there is anything on a trail from San Francisco to the Oregon/Barlow Trail in The Dalles, Oregon?  My grgrgrandfather came that route and settled in Dufur, Oregon.
