[or-roots] Pleasant Hill Cemetery

My problem is that he is not listed on the index of graves, yet his death certificate says Pleasant Hill Cemetery. He lived at Goshen from 1853 to his death in 1913. The coroner and mortuary were in Springfield. According to his death certificate, he died one day and was buried the next day. I can't see them taking the body up to Sherwood when all of the relatives were either in the Goshen, Klamath Falls or in Eastern Oregon (Gilliam or Morrow Counties).

Do you know if there were grave sites in Pleasant Hill that perhaps didn't have a stone? When the highway was widened, were any graves moved?

Thanks for any and all help.

Waverly;

First of all be sure it is the one in Lane county you want, there is also a
"Pleasant Hill Cemetery" near Sherwood.

For and index of graves;

As to driving directions: you can't miss it, turn onto Highway 58 at Goshen,
or if you are coming from east of the mountains, still on 58, the Cemetery
is on the North side of the highway at the east end of town. the state
widened the highway through town a few years back so there is a retaining
wall at the edge of the cemetery and you can see the first graves right from
the highway. Comparing Yahoo maps and USGS location it appears the last road
on the right will be Bristow, but can't swear to it, but like I say look
north at the east end of town and you can't miss it.

I note I also have recently been involved in research in Pleasant Hill
Cememtery, for my niece and some of her kin in Tennessee!

Could someone give me directions to this cemetery. I assume it is around
Goshen vicinity. I have a great, great, grandfather buried in this
cemetery. Is there a list on the internet anywhere?

Thank you in advance.
