I noted earlier that it did not show up in either Oregon Geographic names or
on USGS locator.

I noted that another suburb of Portland did not show up on USGS locator
either, much to my surprise Middleton here by Reedsport and Shadybrook near
Cottage grove did not show up either, possibly because both names had
already been used in Washington County.

For anyone wanting to play around with the USGS locator, which is especially
good for locating cemeteries, here is the link;
