The names are:
Olivey Catherine (nee Wilson) Lambert b: 1815 TN. Her children were:
James Wilson Lambert, b: 1836, TN (married Mary Jane Forrest);
Achsah Lambert b: 1839 TN (married Lewis Forrest);
Matilda Ann Lambert, b: 1840, TN;
John Aaron Lambert, b: 1845 TN; and William Lee Lambert, b: 1847 TN.

James H.3 Forest, born 03 Feb 1835 in Greene Co, AR; died 24 Jul 1899 in Amity, Yamhill, OR.
Jane Forrest, born 1836 in Greene Co, AR.
Lewis W. Forrest, born 11 Jun 1839 in Greene Co, AR; (m: Achsah Lambert) died 07 Oct 1873 in Dayton, Yamhill, OR.
Williamson C. Forrest, born Mar 1842 in Greene Co, AR.
William B. Forrest, born 1844 in Greene Co, AR; died in Macomb, Mcdonough, Illinois, USA.
Mary Jane Forrest, born 22 Nov 1845 in Greene Co, AR; (m: Mary Jane Lambert) died 15 Sep 1915 in Waverly, Spokane, WA, USA.
John Josiah Forrest, born 1848 in Montgomery Co, MO; died 1869 in , Wright, MO. He married Emily Susan Gideon 1869 in Wright Co, MO; born Abt. 1851.
Hezekiah Forrest, born 1850 in Wright, Missouri, USA. He married UNKNOWN.
John Marion Forrest, born 01 Nov 1851 in Clarks Creek, Hartville, Wright Co, MO; died 24 Apr 1918 in Springfield, Greene Co, MO.
 Minerva Katherine Forrest, born 14 Mar 1855 in MO; died in Richland Parish, LA.

I looks like most of them migrated some time after the 1850 census which shows them in Wright county Missouri. I do know that Achsah died in 1862 in Missouri and Lewis remarried in 1863 in (possible) Illinois.

Most show up in the Yamhill County, Oregon 1870 census. I can't seem to find anyone in the 1860 census, but it could be a misinterpretation of the name on the census. 1850 shows some of the Forrests as Hanst. Go figure.

Thanks for everyone's help.

You mentioned that the surnames you were searching were Forrest &
Lambert but no first names. Having those would help!

In Shirley O'Neil's book, Yamhill County Pioneers, she has about three
pages on the John M. Forrest (spouse Anna) family who were in Yamhill County for
the 1850 census. They came to Oregon in 1845. There are children ranging in
age from 22 - 4. If this sounds like it could be your family, let me know and I
will be glad to send you more
information.
