[or-roots] 1940 census

It has now been about five hours since Layne posted this. While this link  
did require a user name and password, the idea of going directly to  
FamilySearch.org was forwarded in good time.
 
So far, almost all the comments from those who have looked have been  
negative -- to the point of almost blaming the indexers. That's too bad. I  
quickly did a search for the surname VanOrden in Lane County and think I found  
some information I didn't know before. Thank you to everyone who worked so  
diligently to make Oregon one of the early finishers.
