City of Port Orford Receives Facility Grant

The City of Port Orford was awarded a boating facility grant from the Marine Board at their quarterly meeting in Salem on April 28.
	
The city applied for, and received, a grant to replace an existing portable restroom unit at the 12th Street ramp on Garrison Lake with a new, prefabricated flush restroom.  The Board approved $56,770 in state boater funds combined with $8,943 of in-kind contributions for a project total of $65,713.
