U.S. Forest Service Receives Boating Facility Grant

The U.S. Forest Service in Grant County was awarded a boating facility grant from the Marine Board at their quarterly meeting in Salem on April 28.
	
The Forest Service applied for, and received, a grant to replace the existing boarding floats and to provide an accessible pathway to the ramp on Magone Lake, in eastern Oregon.  The Board approved $85,800 in state boater funds combined with $300,000 of applicant cash for a project total of $385,800.
