Port of Cascade Locks Receives Boating Facility Grant

The Port of Cascade Locks was awarded a boating facility grant from the Marine Board at their quarterly meeting in Salem on April 28.
	
The Port of Cascade Locks applied for, and received, a grant to prepare, resurface and restripe 43,510 square feet of parking area, including 14 vehicle/boat trailer spaces, one ADA vehicle/boat trailer space, 30 single car spaces, and four ADA single car spaces. The parking improvements will be at the Port’s launch ramp on the Columbia River above Bonneville Dam.  The Board approved $30,500 in state boater funds combined with $5,500 of applicant cash and $3,500 of in-kind contributions for a project total of $39,500.
