[Announcements from OSPS to the users of the Oregon State Payroll Application]

All,

As a follow up to the employee changes recently made, OSPS has made some changes for Administrators of ePaystub.  The OAR (125-015-0200) regarding House Bill 2207 has gone from temporary to permanent status.  With that in mind OSPS has made changes to the ePayroll website under the Administrators' section.


*         "Enrolling employees in ePaystub" - This is the recommended practice OSPS suggests when setting up new direct deposit users for ePaystub.  This was created to list the steps needed when creating a profile and sending a temporary password to an employee.

*         "Handling exceptions to OAR 120-015-0200" - This is the recommended practice OSPS suggests when documenting exceptions listed in the permanent OAR.

*         "Employee Direct Deposit Form" - This template has been updated to reflect the permanent status of OAR 120-015-0200.  This update includes areas for payroll offices to note exceptions.

Please work with your Human Resources office when handling exceptions related to the OAR.
