OSPS E-News ~ CVT to CXT conversion error

[Announcements from OSPS to the users of the Oregon State Payroll Application]

Hello Payroll Professionals,

Last night the benefit packages were updated removing CVT, however the update to replace all CVT codes with CXT did not go as expected.

The OSPS Help Desk is taking a report that shows the hours of CVT in April and May and splitting it out to send to each agency's contact.  We recommend the following steps...


1.       Update April's time with CXT and set a corrective, TODAY.  This will keep April's leave accruals whole.

2.       Correct May's time with CXT by May Run 1.

CVT is no longer a valid code so any employee attempting to use it must use CXT.

A statewide email about CXT is forthcoming.
