OSPS E-News ~ August Mid-Month Early Pay Date

[Announcements from OSPS to the users of the Oregon State Payroll Application]

Payroll Professionals,

The August off-cycle (mid-month) pay was supposed to be set for Aug. 15, 2023, and is now set to Aug. 9, 2023. The steps to process off-cycle pay is the same process as our daily checks and unfortunately this manual process defaulted to the Aug. 9, 2023, date for checks and ACH.

What this means is, employees will see direct deposits starting to hit their bank accounts as early as Friday, Aug. 11, 2023. Then checks will be sent out from DAS Publishing and Distribution (as per usual), only with an Aug. 9, 2023, date. Agencies should follow their normal process with check distribution.

Lastly, employees will see their off-cycle payslips now in Workday.

We apologize for any additional work that this error may have caused.
