This notice is to inform you that the two items below were approved by the Change Advisory Board (CAB) and implemented into Workday on Aug. 18, 2023.



Inactivate The Non Cash - Housing Taxable Value

The “DNU-Non Cash – Housing Taxable Value (Use Only for Jan & Feb 2023)” has been deactivated effective March 1, 2023. Payroll partners should use the earning code “Non Cash - Housing Taxable Value (Eff 3/1/2023)” which is configured correctly to show on payslips as an earning code.

Deceased Payout - Employee Estate Earning

A new deduction code, “Deceased Payout – Estate of the Employee Payment” was created to identify estate payments on deceased employees and is separate from dependent payments. Please note: The deceased payout process has not changed. This is only a new deduction code to separate estate payments from dependent payments. The code follows the same instructions as the “Deceased Employee Process” document in Workday Drive (Drive>Payroll Information and Resources>Deceased employee process-Updated 3-1-23).
