[Announcements from OSPS to the users of the Oregon State Payroll Application]

Good afternoon,



Payroll Partners can run "Pay | Expiring Tax Elections" report in Workday to obtain a list of exempt employees that will need to update their exempt status for 2024 tax year.

The attached document contains detailed steps for running the report to identify exempt workers that may need to update their exempt status for 2024 tax year.



You can also find this document on Workday Drive > Payroll Information and Resources > Processes and Checklists > "Expiring Tax Elections Report for Exempt Workers"

We encourage agency payroll offices to run this report periodically leading up to the Feb. 15, 2024, cut-off date to ensure all employees have updated their exempt status. Employees that do not update their status by Feb. 15, 2024, DAS will run a job to change tax elections of Single in Workday on February 16.
