Time Entry Lock for Employees
Payroll Advisors have agreed to lock time entry for employees prior to December 1, 2023. That means employees will not be able to change timesheets from January 2023 through November 2023. If a change needs to happen employees need to work with their manager and payroll office.
Agency Timekeepers (Payroll Partners have this role) and Managers can still enter time on behalf of an employee for January through November 2023. This update will reduce time entry activity coming forward from the prior tax year and possibly impacting 2024 tax year.
As a reminder, Time Entry was unavailable starting Jan. 25, 2024, at 5 p.m. and will reopen on Saturday, Jan. 27, 2024, at 8 a.m. for January payroll processing (run 1). Once time opens back up employees will only be able to enter time from December 1, 2023 (start of the 2024 tax year) and forward.
