Hola Oregon Reformista friends and colleagues!

I am excited to share that I am a candidate for the 2021 Caldecott Committee. As a longtime bilingual outreach librarian, active member of REFORMA Oregon and the founder of Libros for Oregon<https://librosfororegon.wixsite.com/home/outreach> (among other experiences and credentials; I've included my official candidate summary below), I hope to serve our profession by bringing a useful perspective to this Award committee.

If you are a member in good standing of ALSC* (ALA's Association for Library Service to Children), I would be honored if you would consider voting for me to be a member of the 2021 Caldecott Award Selection Committee.

Voting is open from now until April 1 at 11:59 pm, Central Time. Here is the link for the ALA Elections: https://www.directvote.net/ala/login.aspx?id=145035&pwd=NALW4CCY<https://www.directvote.net/ala/login.aspx?id=145035&pwd=NALW4CCY>.

Please feel free to ask me questions or to share this information.
Exciting times!

Saludos cordiales,
Deborah
