[yscon] Trainings and Conferences

I’ll put in a pitch for the National Summer Learning Association Conference; I went a few years ago and it was great. I like to attend conferences outside of libraryland sometimes to get a different perspective. Zero to Three was a good one too (I’m going again this year just because it’s right here in Denver), and I haven’t been but I hear NAEYC is really good.

I’m going to the ALSC Symposium for the first time this year, so I will let you know… Otherwise, I find YALSA’s symposium is always great.  PLA, too.  Haven’t done ALA Mid-winter but am planning on it perhaps this coming year.   I don’t get as much out of ALA Annual, but we do have a YSCON meeting at it, but just for an hour or so.
